The incredible Parr family from "The Incredibles" couldn't hold back the Mario brothers' advance in the animation box office. The mustachioed plumbers from Super Mario Bros. have secured the third spot in the ranking of the highest-grossing animated films, according to the data compiled by The Numbers website.

However, the family feud continues as Mario and Luigi have yet to surpass the sisters Elsa and Anna. Therefore, "Frozen 2" and "Frozen" claim the first and second places, respectively.

It's worth noting that "Super Mario Bros." has already become the most profitable video game-based film in history.
